Tesla Superchargers Open to Ford Customers

Ford Tesla NACS

At Future Ford of Roseville, we’re happy to announce that all Ford F-150 Lightning and Mustang Mach-E retail customers are leading the charge as the first among non-Tesla vehicles to gain access to Tesla Superchargers across the United States and Canada.

In a recent Cox Automotive Consumer Sentiment Study, it was revealed that the availability of charging stations ranks as the second most significant barrier, following price, for those considering the purchase of an electric vehicle. As electric vehicle prices become more competitive, ensuring access to reliable fast charging becomes paramount in encouraging more customers to confidently make the switch to an EV.

With over 15,000 Tesla Superchargers now accessible to Ford electric vehicle owners, we’re doubling down on our commitment to provide convenient and reliable DC fast charging through the BlueOval™ Charge Network.

As a token of appreciation to our electric vehicle customers, we’re pleased to offer the Fast Charging Adapter at no cost to both new and existing customers enrolled in the BlueOval™ Charge Network until June 30, 2024. This adapter is essential for charging at upgraded Tesla Superchargers, and Ford retail EV customers are the pioneering recipients of this industry-first offer.

For those who miss the complimentary window, fear not! Future Ford of Roseville EV customers can still purchase the adapter directly from Ford for a nominal fee of $230, inclusive of estimated tax and shipping.

For all our Ford Pro commercial customers, keep an eye out for communication this Spring, either via mail or through your Ford Pro account manager, to facilitate the ordering process for your adapter.

The BlueOval™ Charge Network simplifies the charging experience by providing a seamless stored payment account accessible through the FordPass App or Charge Assist App (soon to be “Public Charge”) directly from your vehicle’s touchscreen. No more fumbling with credit cards at charging stations. Once you’ve set up your account and activated Plug & Charge, charging your Ford EV at Tesla Superchargers becomes as easy as plug and play, with charges conveniently managed through FordPass.

Looking ahead, Ford is committed to integrating the North American Charging Standard (NACS) connector into our next-generation electric vehicles, eliminating the need for adapters to access Tesla Superchargers.

At Future Ford of Roseville, we’re not just driving towards the future; we’re charging ahead. Join us in embracing the electrifying possibilities of tomorrow’s automotive landscape. Visit us today near Sacramento, CA.
